2022 Unity Ministerial Program Students selected Martha as their graduation commencement keynote speaker.
In Service to the World:
- • Martha has been co-minister for the Spiritual Life Center in Troy, MI, with Rev. Ron Scott for 4 years.
- • Martha travels ninety percent of the time for almost 20 years, to serve Unity and New Thought churches, facilitating workshops to develop and equip boards and laity. Her workshops integrate a plethora of teachings from Healthy Congregations, Family Systems, Lombard Peace Center, Interim Ministry Network, Unity, and The Work of Byron Katie. And now that ministries have gone virtual, you can find Martha in up to three or more ministries on a given Sunday, either in person, virtually, live, or pre-recorded.
- • As full and in demand as her schedule may be, Martha dedicates significant time between engagements for personal phone calls, text messages, and handwritten birthday or anniversary notes to maintain a personal relationship with each leader that she serves. She is often on Zoom or phone calls into the late-night hours. She does so because her mission is “to serve those who serve.”
- • Since the pandemic in 2020, a period of mass transition for ministries and mass pressure or retirement of ministers, Martha has been hosting a weekly online gathering that is dedicated to voicing and healing concerns of fellow ministers. These gatherings are free and ongoing.
- • Before coaching or online services became trendy, Martha was already blazing a path as a self-employed coach and ministry consultant, and offering online services through Zoom or her website, MarthaCreek.com (http://marthacreek.com/). There, she posts a calendar of upcoming events and provides free recorded resources for download.
- • Martha has been offering 8-month mentoring programs to inspire and develop leaders. One is the “Extraordinary Leadership” program, and the other is an “Immersion” program. While many Unity and New Thought ministers have been participating in these programs, the majority are lay leaders, seeking not to teach others but to gain practical tools for their own spiritual growth and self-actualization. Both programs culminate with weekend retreats that Martha leads at Loretto twice a year.
- • Martha hosts an annual minister’s retreat in Loretto as well for the leaders in her programs and weekly groups.
- • Martha recorded 365 days, a year-long review of the Science of Mind in 2024, and 365 days of Self-Compassion in 2025.
- • Martha published two books of her photography, artwork, and quotes. She has published two other books entitled Martha’s Pearls and Presence and Potential. All are available on Amazon.
